Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari left Pakistan suddenly on Tuesday, complaining of heart pains, and is now in Dubai. His planned testimony before a joint session of Pakistan's parliament on the Memogate scandal is now postponed indefinitely.
On Dec. 4, Zardari announced that he would address Pakistan's parliament about the Memogate issue, in which his former ambassador to Washington Husain Haqqani stands accused of orchestrating a scheme to take power away from Pakistan's senior military and intelligence leadership and asking for U.S. help in preventing a military coup. Haqqani has denied that he wrote the memo at the heart of the scheme, which also asked for U.S. support for the Zardari government and promised to realign Pakistani foreign policy to match U.S. interests.
The memo was passed from Pakistani-American businessman Mansoor Ijaz to former National Security Advisor Jim Jones, to then Joint Chiefs Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen on May 10, only nine days after U.S. forces killed Osama bin Laden in the Pakistani military town of Abbottabad.
Ijaz has repeatedly accused Haqqani of being behind the memo, and Ijaz claims that Haqqani was working with Zardari's implicit support.
Early on Tuesday morning, Zardari's spokesman revealed that the president had traveled to Dubai to see his children and undergo medical tests linked to a previously diagnosed "cardiovascular condition."
A former U.S. government official told The Cable today that when President Barack Obama spoke with Zardari over the weekend regarding NATO's killing of the 24 Pakistani soldiers, Zardari was "incoherent." The Pakistani president had been feeling increased pressure over the Memogate scandal. "The noose was getting tighter -- it was only a matter of time," the former official said, expressing the growing expectation inside the U.S. government that Zardari may be on the way out.
The former U.S. official said that parts of the U.S. government were informed that Zardari had a "minor heart attack" on Monday night and flew to Dubai via air ambulance today. He may have angioplasty on Wednesday and may also resign on account of "ill health."
"If true, this is the ‘in-house change option' that has been talked about," said Shuja Nawaz, director of the South Asia Center at the Atlantic Council, in a Tuesday interview with The Cable. Nawaz said that under this scenario, Zardari would step aside and be replaced by his own party, preserving the veneer of civilian rule but ultimately acceding to the military's wishes to get rid of Zardari.
In Islamabad, some papers have reported that before Zardari left Pakistan, the Pakistani Army insisted that Zardari be examined by their own physicians, and that the Army doctors determined that Zardari was fine and did not need to leave the country for medical reasons. Zardari's spokesman has denied that he met with the Army doctors.
One Pakistani source told The Cable that Zardari was informed on Monday that none of the opposition party members nor any of the service chiefs would attend his remarks to the parliament as a protest against his continued tenure. This source also said that over a dozen of Zardari's ambassadors in foreign countries were in the process of being recalled in what might be a precursor to Zardari stepping down as president, taking many of his cronies with him.
Pakistan's Dawn newspaper reported that before leaving, Zardari met separately with Gilani, Chairman of the Senate Farooq H Naik, and Interior Minister Rehman Malik.
This past weekend, the Memogate scandal worsened for Zardari when Ijaz alleged in a Newsweek opinion piece that Zardari and Haqqani had prior knowledge of the U.S. raid to kill bin Laden, and may have given permission for the United States to violate Pakistan's airspace to conduct the raid.
On May 2, the day after bin Laden was killed, Wajid Hasan, Pakistan's high commissioner to the United Kingdom, said in an interview with CNN that Pakistan, "did know that this was going to happen because we have been keeping -- we were monitoring him and America was monitoring him. But Americans got to where he was first."
In a statement given to the Associated Press of Pakistan Monday, White House spokesperson Caitlin Hayden said that information on the actual operation to kill bin Laden was not given to anyone in Pakistan.
"As we've said repeatedly, given the sensitivity of the operation, to protect our operators we did not inform the Pakistani government, or any other government, in advance," she said.
Zardari lived in self-imposed exile in Dubai from 2004 through 2007 after being released from prison, where he had been held for eight years on corruption charges. His three children live there, but his 23-year son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), is in Pakistan now.
UPDATE: A Pakistani source close to Zardari e-mailed into The Cable to say that Zardari is simply ill and is not stepping down. Rumors of Zardari stepping down might be part of a behind the scenes power play but Zardari confidante Senate Chairman Farooq Naek will be acting president while Zardari is out of the country and Gilani remains loyal to Zardari, flanked by Zardari's son Bilawal. "The rumors of a silent coup are sometimes a way of trying to effect a silent coup. It won't happen," the source said.
Global Game and Chess Board of Pakistan
Pakistan is the World’s Sixth Most-Populous and Second Muslim-Majority Country and also has the Second-Largest Shi'a Population in the World. About 97% of the Pakistanis are Muslim. Pakistan has the Seventh Largest Standing Armed Force and is the only Muslim-Majority Nation to possess Nuclear Weapons. It is designated as a Major Non-NATO ally of the United States and a strategic ally of China. It is a Founding Member of the Organization of the Islamic Conference and a Member of the United Nations, Commonwealth of Nations, Next Eleven Economies and the G20 Developing Nations.
However, as a matter of fact, currently the Pakistan is hanging like a Pendulum between U.S.A and China along with many Regional and Supporting Players due to Geo-Political Position in War of Domination, because of, Communication and Energy Corridors, Geographical presence at Door Step of China at North, Central Asian States through Afghanistan at North West, Iran at South West and Arabian Sea at South. Therefore, neither the U.S.A is able to isolate the Pakistan like Iraq and not be able to capture like Afghanistan. As, this type of adventure will provoke the interests of other key world Players particularly China and Russia, thus, it may initiate the 3rd World War.
Due to the Game of Domination between International Players, during this Decade, either the Pakistan will be The Asian Tiger with Strong Institutions and Political Parties or a Failure State with Strong Personalities and War Lords. As, the Russia was already attempting to reach The Warm Water but now China is also willing for it by 2030 and from 2020 China will start the Advancement towards The Arabian Sea, till 2020 China will Work to choose and secure the Corridors. However, owing to Chinese Role in Pakistan since 60’s, People of Pakistan trust the China as a Faithful Friend. Consequently; People of Pakistan are not ready to support any action against Chinese Interest, as they did Against Russia for Decades.
Pakistan is facing a Hard Time of Life due to Communication and Energy Corridors. Therefore, if China is ready to reach The Arabian Sea in near future then Pakistan will be a Battle Ground instead of Communication and Energy Corridor, primarily the region of Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will happen to be the main target. If not then, it is not suitable for U.S.A to break or even reduce the Strategic Relationship with Pakistan. Because without Geographical support of Pakistan, U.S.A will lose the Control over Afghanistan and Russia will again advance towards The Warm Water. Yet any Plan of U.S.A to convert Pakistan into a Battle Ground will Force or Facilitate the Pakistan to change the camp. Otherwise, Pakistan will prefer to maintain the Strategic Relationship with U.S.A.
Furthermore, People of Pakistan are also fading up by the Arrogant, Autocratic, Dictatorial, Dogmatic and Tyrannical Rulers as well as Crooked, Corrupt, Dishonest, Dummy, Puppet and Pseudo Politicians, along with their Masters, Patrons and Facilitators (Mostly the PAK-US establishment). Therefore, it is a Hard Time for PAK-US Establishment and Pakistani Politicians to revise their Policy, to make it according to the Will and Wish of Pakistani People.
Although, for Game of Domination between International Players, the suitable option is, the Will and Wish of “People of Pakistan” represented by the National Political Leadership. Furthermore, the Sovereignty, Integrity and National Interests of Pakistan are An Internal Subject, related to the Qualities of Nation and Leadership. But, due to Un-organized and Non-systemized National Political Parties, since from Liaquat Ali Khan era to Present Government, Dictatorial and Puppet Rulers were Sweet Choice for U.S.A, to secure the interests in Pakistan and to keep Russia away from The Warm Water.
However, now People of Pakistan are fading up. They are furious and frustrated about the Dictatorial Rulers and Puppet Leaders due to negligence of Public Affairs, Interests and Problems. Consequently, in future, Atmosphere and Circumstances will not support the Dictatorial Rulers and Puppet Politicians, absolutely. Because, in future era Game of Domination between U.S.A, Russia and China will Enhance in North Africa, Middle East and Central Asia. Therefore, Pakistani Politics will start to dominate the National and International Issues at Public ground too. Therefore, due to Geo-Political importance of Pakistan; it will facilitate the “People of Pakistan” and “Major National Political Players” To make Pakistan an Asian Tiger through well-built State Institutions along with Properly Organized and Systemized Political Parties.
Nevertheless, Non-democratic and Un-constitutional Actions by the Establishment or Non-Political and Un-ethical Activities by the National and Provincial Level Politicians along with Un-organized and Non-systemized Political Parties, will Abrupt the Situation and Lead the Country towards a Failure and Malfunctioning State by way of Strong Personalities and War Lords. Because, in past era due to Social Polarization, Administrative Victimization and Economical Disintegration, Lower and Middle Class Peaceful, Law-abiding and Honest People of Pakistan have suffered a lot. But now they are going to be Immune and Reactive. It is Visible from their Attitude of Ignorance and Not-willingly participating in Political and Governance Activities.
Whereas, the Dictatorial Rulers, Elite Class Feudal Lords, Opportunist and Hypocrite Politicians along with their companions were the Advantageous Lot by means of Dividing and Disappointing the Nation through Cultivating and Harvesting the Regional, Ethnic, Sectarian and Locality Oriented Emotions and Interests. But now they are going to be Fragile and Filthy. It is Noticeable from their Lack of Attention in Public Politics and Governance Activities, due to Public Embarrassment and Feeling of Ashamed by their Political and Governance Character.
However, due to Geo-Political importance of Pakistan in War of Regional Domination and Psychosomatic Aptitude of Pakistani People, at any time and every type of Political Proxy Facilitation to counter the attempts of Destabilization and Insurgency in Pakistan, at National and International stage, by the U.S Opposing Players; Especially China or Russia, will burst the Situation. Because, due to Domination and Control of Opportunists, Hypocrites and Power as well as Money Hunger Persons in Governance and Politics, Public is already under threat of Administrative Victimization and Judicial Injustice along with Economical Disaster and Social Polarization.
Therefore, Institutionally Collapsed and Economically Distorted Pakistan, along with, Socially Polarized, Administratively Victimized and Politically Deprived People of Pakistan due to Terrorism, Fascism and Nepotism, as a result of Inefficiency, Misconduct and Corruptive Practices of Dogmatic and Tyrannical Rulers as well as Puppet and Pseudo Politicians in Conjunction with their Masters, Patrons and Facilitators (Mostly the PAK-US establishment), may Turn Out to be a Major Political and Moral Hazard for U.S.A at National and International Level. Defiantly, it will be Consequential to the War of Regional Domination, along with Control over Afghanistan.
Truly reproduced the bitter truth. Excellent work.
Dr.Masood Tariq have reproduced a bitter truth
Agree Deedar Ali, Dr.Masood Tariq have reproduced a bitter truth “Global Game and Chess Board of Pakistan” in a very simple and sweet way.
It is an eye opener and ground work for Pakistani nation and international community to brainstorm upon a very sensitive situation to rectify the global game in positive and honorable direction for world peace and humanity.
Total Confusion and amazing twisted hubris to bamboozle facts
Whats is being babbled about as a helpless victim of great power game played for so called exceptional geographical advantages is total obfuscation of the well known-facts.
Pakistani Army and ISI is the lynchpin and reason of present violent situation, though most of the jingoistic Pakistanis would love to accept otherwise.
Understandably there is no mention of Pakistani duplicity and furtherance of one of the most self destructive national objectives to annex Kashmir and colonize Afghanistan.
Who killed Abdullah Azzam after departure of Russians from Afghanistan is not mentioned conveniently.
Many knowledgeable believed that he was killed by ISI-Al Qaeda-Taliban triad to continue violence and eventual domination of Afghanistan by Pakistan friendly entity along with furtherance of Jihad to strike at core of the corrupted west.
Khalid Mohammad Shaikh the lead planer of 9/11 was captured from severing deputy mayor of Islamabad, after he started bragging about his exalted role in the attack
The Kunduz "Airlift of Evil" involving covert transport of thousands of cornered Al Qaeda-Taliban fighters in Nov 2001 was done on orders of Pavez Musharraf.
Before that in 1999, Flight IC 184 of Indian Airlines was hijacked by ISI backed hijackers to facilitate the release of Pakistani terrorists imprisoned in India.
Attacks on Mumbai, Indian Parliament and across India, embassy in Kabul and many other attack across the world had well entrenched Pakistani footprints.
Whats is being babbled at so called great power game for supposed high priority access to warm waters of Arabia has not much role in the conflicts and related extensions.
If any one entity which can be primarily held responsible for the age old love and belief in perennial conflicts and blood letting in the region is Pakistani Army and its Spooky Spy agency- ISI.
Establishment v/s Political Governance
Personality based politics by the way of own agenda through individually managed and self loyal persons as an alternative of party manifesto politics, results non-systemized and un-organized party structure, un-skilled and un-experienced leadership, non-political aptitude workers.
Whereas, establishment is well skilled and organized, experienced and systemized in bureaucratic and administrative duties at national, provincial and local level.
Therefore, manifesto less politics, fragile party structure and pseudo-political coworkers, force the political leaders either to subordinate or confront the establishment for politics or governance instead of reciprocal, honorable, reliable and fruitful institutional working relationship to perform their charter of duties according to the constitution, laws and rules of business.
In matter of fact, political parties are supposed to:
1. Work as a bureaucrat to prepare proper plans and programs through well skilled persons of related subject.
2. Act as an administrator to perform party affairs and redress public grievances through well experienced people of related field.
3. Behave as a social worker to interact with party supporters and general public through well respected personalities of related locality.
For this reason, political parties are required to be organized and systemized appropriately by considering the necessity of cadres at union council, tehsil, district, province and national level.
a. Cadre of leaders or initiators: comprised on persons, those possess intellectual wisdom to prepare proper plans and programs.
b. Cadre of workers or motivators: comprised on persons, those have organizational skill to organize and systematize the party.
c. Cadre of supporters or actors: comprised on persons, those are socially well respected among the masses and competent to collaborate and cooperate with public.
However, in Pakistan, political parties were/are never organized and systemized by the party owners according to the political ethics and manners along with party manifesto. Therefore, most of political parties work like Private Limited Companies and have their own sole agents, distributors and salesmen. Because of that most of the politicians have their own paid workers and working partners. They behave with the political workers like customers and they treat the general public like slaves.
CONSEQUENCE: Public feels disappointment, remains dissatisfied, become disillusioned from politicians and political parties. Therefore, opportunists, hypocrites and power as well as money hunger persons get the opportunity to arrange, manage or attain the domination and control of governance or politics. It results administrative victimization, judicial injustice, economical disaster and social polarization.
CONCLUSION: Grooming of local, provincial and national leadership is not possible without well organized and systemized political parties as per party manifesto and according to the political ethics and manners. Otherwise, un-groomed politicians, un-organized and non-systemized political parties have to subordinate or confront the establishment for politics or governance instead of reciprocal, honorable, reliable and fruitful institutional working relationship to perform their charter of duties according to the constitution, laws and rules of business.
DRAWBACK: Although, establishment is well skilled and organized, experienced and systemized in bureaucratic and administrative duties but without political wisdom; whereas political aptitude is necessary for the political and democratic atmosphere. Therefore, direct governance or proxy politics in shape of sponsorship, facilitation or by the way of producing pseudo-political leaders, workers and supporters breed the aggressive, arrogant and authoritarian perception of establishment in individuals, masses and democratic institutions.
It generates the emotions and impression of dictatorial rule of establishment by suppressing the personal, public and political privileges.
It facilitates the opportunists, hypocrites and power as well as money hunger persons to arrange, manage or attain the domination and control in governance or politics.
It leads towards cultivation of race, region and religion related differences, disputes and distrust along with conflicts, confrontations and clashes.
It promotes the personality based politics by the way of own agenda through individually managed and self loyal persons as an alternative of party manifesto politics, which results non-systemized and un-organized party structure; un-skilled and un-experienced leadership and non-political aptitude workers.
It destabilizes the social environment, economical stability and governance system.
It results social polarization, economical disaster and administrative victimization.
SUGGESTIONS: Systemized and organized party structure with skilled and experienced leadership and political mindset workers is the prerequisite of political potentiality and stability as well as reciprocal honorable, reliable and fruitful institutional working relationship according to the constitution, laws and rules of business.
Therefore, political parties are required to launch the “Political Brain Hunt” program to search the political aptitude leaders and workers from every district by the central rank leadership; from every tehsil by the provincial rank leadership and from every union council by the district rank leadership to organize and systemize their parties along with plan of grooming political ethics and skills in party leadership and workers by holding meetings, seminars and workshops.
NOTE: Skill as a prerequisite for establishment is sufficient, but for holder of power wisdom is the initial prerequisite.
QUOTE: Mankind will never see an end of the trouble until and unless; lovers of the wisdom come to hold political power or holder of power become lover of wisdom. (Plato)

Zardari does NOT want to face Zulfikar’s fate
If Zardari has indeed left Pakistan for good, it must be that Mansoor Ijaz’s memos will ultimately lead to Zardari’s doorstep.
Zardari remembers all too well what happened to his father-in-law Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (the deposed prime minister of Pakistan) who was hanged in 1979 for treason by the military government of General Zia on the charges of treason.
Here we go again - Pakistani military that owns the Pakistani State may be about to show its fangs again, especially with the possible breach in US-Pakistan relations.
Zardari is one of the biggest bastards we have ever seen,
FAISALABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-N President Nawaz Sharif Sunday accusing President Asif Ali Zardari of selling out country's sovereignty, said the present regime wanted to put Pakistan's army under the US control.
In his address to a public meeting at Dhobi Ghat where PML-N supporters turned up in a huge number, Nawaz Sharif said: "The letter written and sent to Mike Mullen with the help of Pakistan Ambassador in US Hussain Haqqani, sought to put Pakistan army under the US control".
He reiterated the call for launching an investigation into the memogate scandal within a couple of days.
The PML-N President warned that the inquiry be completed within 9 days or else his party would approach the Supreme Court.
"We won't be part such assemblies where the government refuses to listen to our concerns," Nawaz Sharif said.
He asked as to what kind of government it was whose knees trembled when the US executed an armed operation in Abbottabad.
Expressing shock on the President and Prime Minister's response, he said President Zardari in an article appeared in a US newspaper was all praise for the attack while the PM called it a 'great victory'.
Talking about his rule in late 90's, Nawaz Sharif said he responded to India's five nuclear blasts with six in Pakistan. "The green passport earned a great honor that day."
Nawaz said just one phone call from the US sucked all air from President Pervez Musharraf whereas he had been contacted five times by the then US president but he stood firm to his ground.
He said it was his firm stance that made Pakistan a nuclear state.
"Can anyone muster that much courage today?" he challenged.
Nawaz Sharif also criticized Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan, saying the latter wanted the Kashmir issue to be put on a back burner. "We cannot put Kashmir on a back burner, because this issue is linked to Pakistan's sovereignty," he asserted.
He regretted that the country was facing unprecedented corruption today, saying he had have never seen so much corruption in his entire life.
Nawaz Sharif claimed that the country was on a path of progress during his previous rule but the journey was not allowed to be completed.
Why Zardari Sucks
By Salman Mugsi • Mar 28th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 6 Comments
President Asif Ali Zardari’s actions throughout his careers and now especially in his role as the president are proof enough that his extremely flippant nature and his frivolous levity is whatis getting us to the brink of no-return. Just when the life was returning to the Swat and just when the tribes of Bajaur and Khyber Agencies were holding jirgas to oust Taliban from their areas, Zardari has sucked.
With much ado and to the immense relief for the hundreds of thousands of people of Malakand Division and its adjoining areas, a peace truce was struck between the Taliban and the security forces after NWFP government of ANP pleaded with the ameer of Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Shariat Muhammadi (TNSM), Maulana Sufi Muhammad. As a result, fire was held in the region and NWFP Chief Minister Ameer Haider Hoti signed the draft of the proposed Nizam-e-Adl (Shariat) Regulation 2009, and sent it to Governor Owais Ghani to be forwarded to the president for approval on 9th of March of this year.
As soon as the CM Hoti signed the regulation, things started to return towards normalization in Swat. People returned their homes, business opened up, schools were again filled by the students, and the markets were full and the life started to heal itself. A new wave of hope swept across the region after more than two years of bloodshed and terror.
But now Asif Ali Zardari has said that he hasn’ t signed any regulation and doesn’t intend to sign any such regulation for any part of the country. Zardari has said that he wouldn’t allow such regulation at any cost in any area of the country. As he said that on the eve of 23rd March, a suicide bomber struck in Islamabad’s G7 sector.
The people of Swat have become apprehensive again and the tension is mounting again. Unrest is visible in the people and they have again started fearing for their future.
President Asif Ali Zardari will remain under medical observation after suffering a heart attack but is stable after flying to Dubai and being admitted to hospital for tests, the government said Thursday.
"The doctors have yet to determine whether the president's condition was due to adverse reaction to the medication he was taking or a development related to his pre-existing cardiac condition," the prime minister's office said.
Mustafa Khokhar, minister in charge of human rights, said that contrary to media reports there was "no question of any resignation" by Zardari, who has already defied the expectations of many in remaining head of state since 2008.
"He had a minor heart attack on Tuesday. He flew to Dubai where he had an angioplasty. He's in good health now. There's no question of any resignation," Khokhar told AFP on Wednesday.
State media said Zardari left for Dubai on Tuesday, accompanied by his physicians and personal staff, for routine tests linked to a "previously diagnosed cardiovascular condition".
Presidential spokesman Farhatullah Babar told AFP that Zardari was in hospital for tests and a planned medical check up, but dismissed media reports that he may be forced to step down as "speculative, imaginary and untrue".
The website of the US magazine Foreign Policy reported that Zardari had been considering his resignation over health fears and the "Memogate scandal".
The article quoted an unnamed former US government official as saying Zardari was "incoherent" when he spoke to President Barack Obama by telephone over the weekend following NATO air strikes that killed 24 Pakistani soldiers.

Last hope against the establishment: President Zardari
Let’s take aside propaganda against elected president Asif Ali Zardari, which started Nawaz and company, although he admitted that all allegations are fake and made up by ISI pressure.
Anyway Zawaz proved that he never learned any lesion from the history and again he ready to play a role as a tool against democratic govt. It does not matter that you like Mr. Asif Ali Zardari or not, but he is elected president and chair person of elected political parity, which is the largest party in Pakistan and have roots every part of Pakistan. Mind it if you malign President Asif Ali Zardari on the bases of all baseless allegations, it means you will hurt million of people who are followers of PPP and Asif Ali Zardari. I warn the establishments that please stay in your limits, otherwise nothing will remains.
Now the situation is do or die and now or never,
Let’s pray of God that good health and long live for President Asif Ali Zardari
Paksitan Zinda Bad.
Zardari is the biggest thief of Pakistan.
This is proven and no doubt on this statement.
Zardari's name appears in news in 1980's when he committed the crime of kidnapping and getting ransom from a Pakistani investor who bring his all wealth from UK/ Canada which was about equal to 30 million US $ as per the times exchange rate.
He kidnapped Mr. Ghulam Hussain Uhar, send him bank with sticking the remote bomb with his chins and he withdraw his whole deposited amount.
In 1988 when PPP got majority in elections and Be Nazir Zardari step in PM office he became Mr. 10% and this statement is not given by opposition but by the victims.
In 1993-1996 period of PPP government he again activated and to collect the funds for their self exile which they always impose on them selves when their governments disposed off,
Now from last 4 years he is taking his shares from all the Government office holders and all deals of privatization, IPP'S and also from MQM Monthly collection from Karachi city which is about equal to 2 million US $ per month cause total collection is more than 4 million US $.
Now he collected enough for his generation for next ten years or more so he can be resign cause if he'll stick to the seat he cant send his son again to the public for election.
