Your humble Cable guy had the opportunity to ask Defense Secretary Robert Gates a question at the opening plenary session of the 10th annual IISS Shangri-La Security Dialogue here in Singapore.

We pressed Gates to explain how the Pentagon's new cyber policy would be implemented with regard to the persistent threat of cyber attacks emanating from China.  Gates responded that he believed the time had come for robust international engagement to establish the "rules of the road" in cyber space.
