Day 62 of wait for Paul Farmer at USAID. At this rate, poverty will end before Farmer takes over.
Update: One Washington development hand writes to say that he and a colleague have a bet for a beer and a burger at Chef Geoff's as follows: X "bet that the [USAID administrator] nominee will be Paul Farmer. I bet it wouldn't happen before the end of July. Looks like between the two of us, we'll have one beer and one burger."
