Post's Bass to U.N. as Rice advisor/speechwriter

The Washington Post's Al Kamen reports that Warren Bass, the deputy editor of the Post's Outlook section and previously a staffer with the 9/11 Commission, has been tapped to be Susan Rice's speechwriter and advisor at the United Nations.

UPDATE: The Senate voted unanimously to confirm Rice as ambassador to the U.N. Thursday night.
